SINGLE ORIGIN -  Our delicious decaf coffee comes from a cooperative organized by  small-scale coffee producers and midwives in Guatemala.  37%  of the farmers in this non-profit organization are women who initially participated in the cooperative as midwives. Over time, the cooperative became a platform for women in the region to be recognized as important agents in the coffee industry.

DECAFFEINATION PROCESS  - This coffee  has undergone the  ecological  Swiss Water Process. This process uses water from the untouched environments of the coastal mountains of British Columbia, Canada, to gently remove caffeine until the coffee beans are  99.9% caffeine-free ,   while maintaining  the distinct origin and flavor characteristics of the bean .  

THE ROAST -  Our organic coffee is roasted to achieve a low acidity profile, full body, and intense, balanced flavor. We use the slow roasting technique, developed to reduce the acidity of the coffee and provide a more balanced, sweet, and smooth finish.
