Usage and Conservation Guidelines:
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Wash with soap and water.
- Dry excess water well with a dry cloth and return the pan to the heat until all moisture is eliminated.
- Curing is not necessary. Your product comes from the factory ready for use.
- Store in a dry and airy place.
AFTER EACH USE
- Clean your utensil with soap and water, using a sponge or brush to remove all food residues.
If residues remain, boil water in the pan with a little detergent. - Dry excess water well with a dry cloth and return the pan to the heat until all moisture is eliminated.
- If the pan looks new, simply store it in a dry and airy place.
PRODUCT CURING
If the pan shows signs of wear or rust, cure it according to the steps below:
- Wash with soap and water, using a sponge or brush, until all food or rust residues are removed.
- Dry excess water well with a dry cloth and return the pan to the heat until all moisture is eliminated.
- Apply a thin layer of oil to the entire surface of the utensil (inside and out) using paper towel and
place in the oven at 250ºC (maximum oven temperature) for 1 hour upside down or leave on direct flame for up to 15 minutes. It is important that there are no application failures of oil to avoid stain formation. Repeat if necessary. - If your utensil has wooden and non-metallic accessories, remove all and cure in the oven at 250°C. If it is not possible to remove the accessories, curing should only be done on direct flame. Colored pieces should only be cured on direct flame to avoid changes in the coating.
Repeat this step as many times as necessary to make the pan look new.
Usually two applications are enough to completely restore the cast iron pan.
RUST
- Cast iron utensils are subject to oxidation.

In case of rust, perform the PRODUCT CURING procedure to restore the coating to its original state.
